About Us
Consolidated Property Inspections, LLC (CPI) is an Illinois licensed
radon measurement company dedicated to assisting homeowners and prospective
homebuyers with the radon issue by performing reliable radon measurements.
CPI was started by Mr. Jay Jaros, an Illinois licensed Professional Geologist and Radon
Measurement Professional whose career has been dedicated to assisting clients with the
management of difficult environmental decisions.
Mr. Jaros first got interested with the radon issue when a home he was purchasing in
Plainfield tested high for radon more than nine years ago. The home tested well above
the threshold limit of 4 pCi/L. After performing some extensive research, he decided
to have a mitigation system installed, and the home continues to test below the threshold
limit of 4 pCi/L.
When an individual chooses to have CPI perform a radon measurement at their home, they
will not only get their results but also a consultation explaining radon and how they can
reduce their exposure to it. No home can be radon free, but risks can be reduced.
